Standard Windows Patching

Windows desktop operating system patching is conducted on a standard basis. Patch management is a proactive security measure designed to prevent the exploitation of technology vulnerabilities that exist within UAB systems. Maintenance windows are every Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 11 p.m. to 6 a.m. Notification of a pending reboot will occur 90 and 30 minutes before the action takes place. See the status page for scheduled updates.
