What do you do when you’re in trouble—go to the emergency room, get readmitted, or worse, do nothing? It’s a recipe for a vicious cycle that could have disastrous outcomes.
To strengthen teamwork and communication among disciplines, the UAB Schools of Nursing, Medicine and Health Professions are collaborating to offer immersive interprofessional simulation training, allowing students from different disciplines to work together in high-stress medical simulations before they enter the workforce.
